The things people ask most often about installing and using Absolute Leveling.
Absolute Leveling is built for Classic-era World of Warcraft, including WoW Forever realms. Install it into the AddOns folder for the client you actually launch; the install guide lists the paths.
No. The waypoint arrow, map route and minimap pin are all built in. TomTom is optional: you can keep it installed alongside Absolute Leveling, but nothing here depends on it.
When you open a quest dialog, the addon checks whether that quest is part of your current guide. If it is, the quest is accepted for you. Handing quests in is left to you by default, so you choose when to complete them; you can switch on auto turn-in under Options → Automation. Quests the guide does not mention are never touched, so you will not end up with a log full of side quests.
Yes. Hold Shift while you open the NPC's dialog and automation steps aside for that conversation. You can also turn auto accept, auto turn-in or both off entirely in /abs options.
Yes. No route ever asks you to die to travel faster, so every guide is safe to follow on a one-life character. It cannot play for you, though: you are still responsible for every pull, so keep an eye on your health bar.
Type /abs record start and play normally. Quest pickups, turn-ins and travel between them are captured as steps. When you are done, use /abs record stop, then /abs record export to get a guide string you can save or share.
Yes. Copy their guide string, type /abs import, and paste it in. Imported routes get the same arrow, map line and automation as built-in guides. Only import strings from people you trust.
Guides are written to work for every class and race of the faction they cover. Class trainer visits, class quests and race-specific starting steps appear only for characters that need them.
Use /abs next, /abs prev or /abs skip to move the guide to where you actually are. If things are badly tangled, /abs reset starts the active guide over.
Every quest in every route is checked against the 1.12 game data for its ID, name, faction, class and the quests that unlock it, and quest givers, hand-ins and objective areas use exact spawn positions. If a waypoint is ever off on your realm, stand where it should be and type /abs here; /abs fixes lists your fixes so you can send them in. The changelog records every change.
No. The addon and every guide are free, as Blizzard’s add-on policy requires. Donations are optional, never unlock anything, and are only asked for on the donate page, never in game.
Email support@absolutegaming.store. The support page lists what to include so a fix can happen quickly.
